RON DAVIS COLUMN
Welcome
back to Ron Davis Sports!
It's NFL WEEK 8. So, here
we go!
On Sunday November 1st, the Seattle Seahawks travel to
the BIG D and get Texas Barbecued by the Dallas Cowboys
Doomsday Defense.....a star has been born in
Dallas......and his name is Miles Austin! In the Motor
City, the Detroit Lions win over the downtrodden St.
Louis Rams. The New York Jets defense comes up big, in a
win over the Miami Dolphins. The San Francisco 49ers
find no gold in Indianapolis, as the Colts continue
their stampede. The Chicago Bears, The Monsters of the
Midway are back, for one game, they shred the Cleveland
Browns. In Baltimore, it's "never more" time
for the Denver Broncos, they get pounded by the Ravens.
The Houston Texans, with Matt Schaub, Steve Slayton, and
Andre Davis all having huge games, bomb the Buffalo
Bills. In the City of Brotherly Love, the New York
Football Giants take the liberty of beating the
Philadelphia Eagles.
In Tennessee, Vince Young leads the Titans to their
first win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The San Diego
Super Chargers jolt the lowly Oakland Raiders. The best
game of the day is at Lambeau Field, where Brett Favre
and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers and
Aaron Rodgers.....I know it sounds weird. The Vikes are
good! Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and
Steve Breaston light up the scoreboard, as they
annihilate the Carolina Panthers.
On Monday Night Football, the New Orleans Saints have
proved to be unstoppable. So, what happens to the
Atlanta Falcons, they get marched all over.....the
Saints are very good!
Enjoy the games,
Ron
