RON DAVIS COLUMN
In
the early games, the Baltimore Ravens will shut down the
Cleveland Browns. The New England Patriots will finally
get their high powered offense rolling, as they bomb the
Atlanta Falcons....surprise! Brett Favre and the
Minnesota Vikings stomp the San Francisco 49ers. The
Houston Texans will shoot down the Jacksonville Jaguars.
In New York, the Jets are good, very good and they will
trounce the Tennessee Titans. The Philadelphia Eagles
could have Norm Snead behind center, and still beat the
hapless Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers of Green Bay go
to St. Louis and stuff the Rams. In Tampa Bay, the New
York Football Giants beat up the Buccaneers. The Upset
Special is the Detroit Lions clawing, and mauling the
Washington Redskins.
At
Ralph Wilson Stadium, the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans
Saints will light up the scoreboard... Bills win. The
Seattle Seahawks will upset the "Monsters of the
Midway". Pittsburgh's Steelers will smack the
Cincinnati Bengals around. The Miami Dolphins will go to
San Diego, and catch "Lightning in a Bottle",
the Chargers need L.T. At the Oakland Coliseum, the
Raiders will squash the Denver Broncos.
Football
Night in America, has the Arizona Cardinals with Kurt
Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, and Anquan Boldin outscoring
Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark of the
Indianapolis Colts.
Monday
Night Football, it's my Dallas Cowboys spelling DOOMSDAY
for Jake Delhomme, Steve Smith and the Carolina
Panthers.
