Welcome
back to Ron Davis Sports!
It's NFL WEEK 17!
Happy
New Year!!!
On Sunday January 3rd in the 1 PM games, the Chicago
Bears travel to the Motor City, to tangle with the
Detroit Lions. The Monsters of the Midway get mauled
in this game. At Reliant Stadium, the New England
Patriots will end the Houston Texans play-off hopes,
with a sound thrashing. The Dog Pound will be howling
as the Cleveland Browns beat the Jacksonville Jaguars.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers make it two in a row, as they
shoot down the Atlanta Falcons. At Land Shark Stadium
the Pittsburgh Steelers shut down the Miami Dolphins
to keep their slim play-off hopes alive....the Fins
are eliminated. In St. Louis, the Rams get pounded by
the San Francisco 49ers. The Buffalo Bills win against
a team that had a chance for history, and gave it
up.....the Indianapolis Colts. The Owner, and Coach of
the Colts are both idiots......you play to win every
game. "A perfect season has never been part of
our plans".......no problem, the Colts will not
get out of the AFC anyway. The New Orleans Saints lose
for the third week in a row, this time at Carolina as
the Panthers defense has a great day. The Minnesota
Vikings rebound at home and crush the New York
Football Giants.
The BIG GAME of the DAY is in TEXAS, Cowboys Stadium
to be exact! Tony Romo, Miles Austin, DeMarcus Ware,
and Doomsday annihilate Donovan McNabb and the
Philadelphia Fleagles/Eagles. Payback is here and now,
America's Team will not be denied....Dallas is the NFC
East Champion. The Denver Broncos try to earn a Wild
Card berth, but the Kansas City Chiefs will take them
to the limit. In Seattle, the Seahawks beat the
Tennessee Titans. Out West, the San Diego Super
Chargers electrify the Washington Redskins........the
Lightning Bolts are tough! The Baltimore Ravens go to
Oakland and the Raiders put up a good fight.....but
lose.
On Football Night In America at the Meadowlands, it's
the New York Jets, led by Mark Sanchez trying to
secure a Wild Card spot against the Cincinnati Bengals.
This game will be decided if the Bengals play their
starters the whole game. I like the Jets
defense.....so, they will make the play-offs.
One last thing, of course you play to win every game!
So, the owner and coach of the Colts are completely
out of touch with sports. You had/have a chance to
make history, and you don't allow your team/players to
go for it............now that is lousy management! The
players and fans deserve an opportunity to play and
see history in the making. "A perfect season was
never part of our plan". Okay, would a winless
season be part of your plan? I will let you know, each
week I strive for perfection with my picks..........I
have not been perfect yet..........but, I want my fans
to know this, a Perfect Season/Week is definitely part
of my plan!
