  RON DAVIS COLUMN

Welcome back to NFL Football at Ron Davis Sports!

NFL Football Time! The 2010-2011 NFL Season Kick Offs Thursday, September 9, 2010. The defending Super Bowl Champion New Orleans Saints and the Minnesota Vikings, in a rematch of the NFC Championship Game, slug it out with Drew Brees and the Saints beating the Vikings and Brett Favre.

On Sunday, September 12th, in the 1 PM games in the BIG APPLE, the New York Football Giants will crush the Carolina Panthers. In Foxboro, MA Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will bomb the Cincinnati Bengals. The Pittsburgh Steelers without “Big Ben” will beat Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. I like the Denver Broncos over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Tennessee Titans and Vince Young run roughshod over the Oakland Raiders. In Buffalo, the Miami Dolphins will beat the Bills. The Cleveland Browns chase the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into a cage, the Dog Pound wins! The Houston Texans and the Indianapolis Colts light up the scoreboard, the Texans win this one. The Chicago Bears maul the Detroit Lions.

In the 4 PM games, the St. Louis Rams and Sam Bradford upset the Arizona Cardinals. In the City of Brotherly Love, the Green Bay Packers will annihilate the Philadelphia Eagles. In Seattle, Pete Carroll is welcomed back to the NFL as a loser, some things never change, the San Francisco 49ers “Gold Rush” the Seattle Seahawks.

On Football Night in America, it’s America’s Team….The Dallas Cowboys spurring the Washington Redskins!

On Monday Night, it's a Double-header! I like the New York Jets over the Baltimore Ravens. The San Diego Super Chargers will jolt the Kansas City Chiefs.

Looking ahead on February 6, 2011 in Dallas, it will be my Dallas Cowboys versus the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLV. We all know who wins that game…..DOOMSDAY!!!

Enjoy the games,

Ron Davis
